Demazin Non-Drowsy repetabs is a non-sedating combination of a decongestant and antihistamine that provides 12-hour relief from the symptoms of colds, hayfever, allergies or sinus conditions. These include an itchy or runny nose and nasal or sinus congestion. Demazin Non-Drowsy will not cause drowsiness. The active ingredient in each Demazin Non-Drowsy slow release repetab is Loratadine 5mg and Pseudoephedrine 120mg. The decongestant Pseudoephedrine narrows the blood vessels to unblock the nose while the antihistamine Loratadine prevents the effects of histamine produced by the body. Demazin Non-Drowsy is available in packs of 10 repetabs.

Product Dosage

Demazin Non-Drowsy is not be used by children under 12 years of age without the advice of your doctor or pharmacist.

[p]Adults and Children over 12 years of age take one repetab 12 hourly, swallowed whole.

The repetabs are designed to be swallowed whole. They should not be chewed or crushed. They can be taken either before or with a meal.

Do not take a double dosage of Demazin Non-Drowsy. If you miss a dose but remember more than 6 hours before you are due to take your next dose then take it as normal. If it is less than 6 hours before your next dose then skip the forgotten dose and take the next dose when it is due.

Warnings and Precautions:

Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before using Demazin Non-Drowsy if you are pregnant or breast-feeding
Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Demazin Non-Drowsy if you have liver or severe kidney problems
Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Demazin Non-Drowsy if you are currently taking medication for hypertension (high blood pressure), coronary heart disease or depression (MAOIs)
Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Demazin Non-Drowsy if you are over 60 years of age because you may be more sensitive to the effects of this medicine
You should not use Demazin Non-Drowsy if you have pressure in the eye (glaucoma), diabetes, an enlarged prostate, bladder problems or difficulty urinating, high blood pressure, heart or blood vessel disease, or an overactive thyroid gland
It is unlikely that Demazin Non-Drowsy will cause drowsiness. If, however, you find that you become affected do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery
Do not use Demazin Non-Drowsy if you are allergic to Loratadine, Pseudoephedrine or any of the other ingredients of Demazin Non-Drowsy. Demazin Non-Drowsy contains sucrose and lactose but does not contain gluten
Keep Demazin Non-Drowsy out of the reach of children

Maintenance: Keep Demazin Non-Drowsy in a cool, dry place. Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Protect from direct sunlight.
