Allerid C Syrup is a generic of Zyrtec Syrup. Allerid C Syrup offers 24-hour relief from the symptoms of allergies without causing drowsiness. The oral solution works quickly to alleviate these conditions in under an hour. When you come into contact with an allergen that your immune system has been conditioned to overreact to, the substance histamine is released. Allergic disorders that affect the respiratory system include perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis, more commonly described as "hayfever". The symptoms of this include a running and itchy nose, irritated, red eyes, and sneezing. Allerid C Syrup will also relieve cutaneous conditions like chronic urticaria (hives), pruritus, and reactions to stings. Each millilitre (ml) contains one milligram (mg) of the antihistamine Cetirizine Hydrochloride. This is a metabolite of the histamine H1 receptor antagonist hydroxyzine. Allerid C Syrup is available in a 100ml bottle.
