Clarinase (Claritin D)
Clarinase (Claritin D) combines the antihistamine loratadine with the decongestant pseudoephedrine sulphate. Pseudoephedrine sulphate works by narrowing the blood vessels to provide effective relief from nasal and sinus congestion. Clarinase 12 Hour Relief contains 5mg of loratadine and 120mg of pseudoephedrine sulphate and is available in packets of 10 repetabs, which are repeat action slow release tablets. Clarinase 24 Hour Relief contains 10mg of loratadine and 240mg of pseudoephedrine sulphate and is available in packets of 7 sustained release tablets.
