Claratyne ( Claritin ) , Clarinase ( Claritin D )

The Claratyne and Clarinase range of products, which are known in the United States by the names Claritin and Claritin D respectively, all share the non-drowsy antihistamine loratadine as their active ingredient. Loratadine provides fast-acting relief from the symptoms of hayfever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) and perennial allergic rhinitis which, as the name suggests, lasts all year round. Loratadine works by reducing the effects of the substance histamine within the body. In the case of an allergy, histamine is erroneously produced by the immune system in response to a particular allergen. This results in the symptoms commonly associated with allergies, including a runny or itchy nose, sneezing, and irritated, watery eyes. Loratadine is also effective in treating the symptoms of allergic skin conditions, including the red, itchy lumps called urticaria, or "hives", that form on the surface of the skin. Taking loratadine will not disrupt your life because it will not make you drowsy.

Claratyne (Claritin) contains 10mg of loratadine as its active ingredient and each tablet will provide 24-hour relief from the symptoms of allergies. Claratyne is available in packs of 10 or 30 tablets. Claratyne syrup contains 1mg/ml of loratadine as its active ingredient and offers once-a-day flexible dosage in order to relieve allergy symptoms. Claratyne syrup is available in a convenient bottle 100ml bottle.
