Phenergan 25mg. Phenergan Tablets are a long-acting antihistamine providing 24-hour relief from the symptoms of allergic disorders, including seasonal allergic rhinitis, or hayfever. Phenergan will treat other conditions including allergic rhinitis, nasal congestion, insect stings and bites, and allergic skin reactions and urticaria, commonly called "hives". The active ingredient in each tablet of Phenergan is 25mg of the antihistamine Promethazine Hydrochloride BP. Promethazine is a phenothiazine derivative antihistamine that works by reducing the actions of histamine within the body. Phenergan 25mg is available in packs of 50 tablets.
Product Dosage
Phenergan is not be used by children under 2 years of age unless advised otherwise by your doctor or pharmacist.
Phenergan 25mg is recommended for adults and older children over 10 years of age.
Children under 10 years of age should use Phenergan 10mg tablets or Phenergan Elixir.
Adults can take 1 or 2 tablets as a single dose at bedtime. Phenergan 25mg provides up to 24-hour relief and minimises daytime drowsiness.
Warnings and Precautions:
- Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before using Phenergan if you are pregnant or breast-feeding

- Avoid alcohol
- Phenergan may cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery
- Do not use Phenergan if you are allergic to Promethazine Hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of Phenergan. Phenergan. Phenergan tablets contain lactose but does not contain sucrose or gluten
- Keep Phenergan out of the reach of children
- In some cases, possible side effects of this medication may include: Headaches, Fatigue, Dry mouth, Drowsiness
Maintenance: Keep Phenergan in a cool, dry place. Store below 25 degrees Celsius. Protect from direct sunlight.
