How do I know I was charged the right amount in New Zealand Dollars?
When your credit card is charged, it is actually charged the amount in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) that was listed as the total for your order. Your credit card statement will show the original charge in the foreign currency, New Zealand Dollars in this case, as well as the exchange rate used at the time to convert this charge into your currency, say US Dollars (USD) for example. The total for the converted amount will also appear on your credit card statement. This is the total for the foreign currency amount after it has been converted into your currency using the exchange rate listed on the statement.
